Imported Estimate to Job Cost: Need Job and Date

Hi,

I need to be able to know What Jobs had estimate total simported into Job Cost and posted.

The data I am seeking is how many estimates by location my team generated. Each Job is named by location, So I have that data. However, I can not figure out when the total estimate for a specific job was imported.

For example: My inquires and reports are built like with these column headers: (SAGE JOB NAME) - Total Estimate - ( I want Estimate import date in this third column)

Could not even find a report in EE do bridge with.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

    Hi!

One way for you to do this would be to design a report that uses Job Cost transactions from the JCT file. You can pull the Batch date from the JC Batch table to see when the batch was created. The Date Stamp from the JC Transaction or JC Batch would show you when it was posted, if it was not posted right away.

    Good Luck!

I guess I could run an excel file connector and pull the file  (s) in.

I have on average about 100 jobs a week so about 100 JCT files that I would have to write connection for, pull in from a txt file, then take batch report, then filter out that way....

I appreciate the help. Looking for a simpler way though. Maybe with SQL Estimating they have this feature now.

It just may not be possible to get without merging reports like you suggested above.
