Printouts can be deleted, they are just digital versions of reports that were saved instead of printed. Most of them are probably journals from data entry or posting. The default file extension for printouts is .prn, if they are stored in a folder with other data files be careful when deleting.

One thing to consider, from a research / support standpoint, we often get questions like "How did this happen?" or "How would we have known about this?" and the answer is to "check the journal for that task." If the journal has been deleted, those questions may be difficult to answer.
