The requirements document for Sage 300 states:

Windows Essentials Edition and domain controllers are not supported.

What does this mean:

it can't be run on a domain server or won't run in a domain or something else?

Also can it run on a Virtual Machine?

Pat,

Sage will run on a VM. From the notes you have I believe they are saying that installing your Sage 300 CRE Accounting Software is not supported on a domain controller. Sage will work in a domain environment.
