License Administration Fail Error After Upgrade to 20.3.1 from 18.4

As License Administration fails and closes down, so I have no licenses for any modules.  Cannot update files as a result of the upgrade either.   Modules such as cash managmet work fine.

    I had this happen repeatedly a couple years ago. I emailed a number of contacts and heard back asking me to try again. I never heard of a cause.

    License Administration is dependent on the Sage 300 CRE Hosting Framework (v#) service.  I would verify that this service is running on the machine that is serving as your License Server.  Even if it is, I would restart the service.  If that doesn't resolve it, try resetting License Administrator.

    You can also "reset" License Administrator by:

    1. Stop Sage.CRE300.HostingFramework.Service.1.0 Service (the version may be different)
    2. Rename the Licensing folder C:\ProgramData\Sage\CRE\HostingFramework\Sage.CRE300.HostingFramework.Service.1.0\Licensing
    3. Start Sage.CRE300.HostingFramework.Service.1.0 Service
    4. Open Sage License Administration
    5. Enter the Sage login info
    6. Click update.
