I haven't received notices of updates for a couple years now.  Pretty bad for the price we pay for support!

We stopped sending notifications by email a few years ago.  All product announcements are now posted on Sage City in the Sage 300 CRE News, Announcements, Alerts.

20.4 is the most current version of Sage 300 CRE at this point in time.

See Knowledgebase ID 100957 for how to turn on subscriptions to notices that are of interest to you.  You'll then get emails whenever anything posts.  For example turn on Sage 300 CRE News, Announcements, and Alerts and you'll get an email about new versions.

I receive the Sage City Digest, would notifications of new releases be included in that Digest? 

How long has 20.4 been available?

Why would they stop doing something that doesn't require much effort to do?

It was released toward the end of March 2021 (somewhere between 3/23 and 3/25. I can't remember the exact date)

We formerly sent software notices only to the primary contact on each customer's account. What we found was that too often the IT people or Sage 300 CRE users were not made aware of these notices, or the primary contact had left the company, or the email was sent to junk without even being read.  We decided to use this forum to publish all Software News, Notices and Alerts so that everyone can see what's happening.  Those who want an email can subscribe to get an email when a new message is posted in the Sage 300 CRE Announcements, News and Alerts forum.

I am not sure what is in the Sage City Digest.  Please tell us if the information is included in the Digest you are receiving... That may be a question that we need to ask the Sage City Mayor.

Hi Vince Glisson - the digest would include all posts. I get daily digests for various Sage products - they show each post for that product, from the prior day. Just be sure you've turned on notifications for the Sage 300 CRE Announcements, News and Alerts forum.

Denise, how can I upgrade to the 20.4 version or does that require assistance from our Sage rep?

Yes, everything posted in the Sage 300 CRE Announcements, News, and Alerts forum is also included in the Daily or Weekly Digest, which is just a summary of all activity within the forums of the Sage Construction and Real Estate Group.
