SAGE CRE300 year-end update

Question

Unlike years past where it seems SAGE starts a year-end discussion we can follow and get some info, I haven't seen anything. I have some questions if someone with SAGE can offer answers. For reference we are on 20.3.1 currently. 
 1. Will the year-end update have to be applied BEFORE the payroll tax update can be installed this year? Knowing this answer will help me try to coordinate waiting till sometime in January to do the year-end update or having to try to magically squeeze it in sometime between Christmas and New Years. 
 2. Is there any idea of when 20.5 year-end update will be released? 
 3. Does SAGE have a posting somewhere about any special holiday support hours that differ from the usual M-F till 8pm EST hours? I like to do the server part of the update when I know I can reach someone when/if something goes wrong?

The PR Tax update is not dependent on the year end update. I tell my customers the PR Tax update is typically done after the last PR of current year and prior to first PR new year. 
 Last year the update came out around the 17th I would expect it will be some time around the 15th. 
 I work for a reseller/ VAR I am not sure what Sage's hours will be.

Stephen is correct. I am sorry if there was any confusion about the two updates required for Payroll each year. To state again: 
 
 The Tax Rate update: Scheduled to be released on 12/21 this year (for Federal and maybe some states - other states released up through January?). This needs to be downloaded in Payroll and updated after you've Posted your final 2021 payroll and prior to Processing your first 2022 payroll. 
 The Year-End software update (20.5 this year): Scheduled to be released 12/9 (though as of 5:57 a.m. PT I have not seen it released yet). This is to update generally Payroll and Accounts Payable (compatibility with Aatrix), but can have other updates included - see Release Notes once released. This should be installed prior to generating Government Year-End reports/forms (e.g. W-2, 1099). 
 
 They generally announce the release (officially) in the Sage 300 CRE Announcements, News, and Alerts section of Sage City (I recommend subscribing). This is available from Sage Desktop under your Sage Construction & Real Estate - Sage City Community tab. As I understand, Sage Support will be open normal hours this year (6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PT) while being closed on 12/24 and 12/31 - no Saturday support this year.
