Best way to reconcile PR to GL for year end totals?

In checking the Knowledgebase, there is an article for reconciling PR to GL which is clearly intended for weekly reconciliations.  Looking at 2021, my accountant is reviewing all GL accounts that relate to payroll and trying to tie those back to the W3 totals.  We have a spreadsheet where we've identified all GL accounts and then are taking the W3 total and adjusting it based on pre-tax deductions such as 401k and Medical.  But we are still off by a few thousand dollars.  Does anyone have a suggestion of a report or a way to tie these two together without spending days reconciling by week?  When I run something like the Deduction by Credit account I get about 500 pages and that's just in one of our companies.
