    If you do not need the changes/fixes in 22.2 and/or 22.2 Update 1 (releasing later today), then 20.5 should be ok (and at the very least it would have to be 20.5 because of the government changes from last year). However, be aware that if you encounter any problems with 20.5, then you will need to upgrade to 22.2.

    Recalling a few years ago, Sage instituted a policy stating there would no longer be partial installs & "patches"--only full, cumulative revised releases.  Apparently, this approach has since been abandoned.  Particularly as a Year End release---couldn't these changes in Update 1 have been incorporated into a full release, since most clients haven't installed it yet?

    Having these patches requires clients to double the install workload for direct-workstation installs.  The workstation client software has to be installed, followed by the patch, creating a two step process instead of one.
