The 22.2 release does not include year-end changes. We will be releasing a year-end version or update (if necessary) later this year.

Can we hold out for the possible 2022 Year-End release or do we need to install this update prior the the year-end release?

Sallzy1187, "reply" to Jesse Gordon, (the rep from Sage) I was the User who posed the original question.  However, since Updates are cumulative, it's more than likely he will respond that we can wait until the Year End version is released and install 22.2 then.

This is difficult to answer at this point in time. It has not yet been established if the Year End Changes will require us to release a a new version or if the changes (if any) can be accommodated via a smaller update. If the changes require only an update, the update will be to version 22.2.
