Beginning with version 22.2, the new.prt will not automatically delete after all checks are posted when you are not using NAMED PR Transaction files. The Named NEW Payroll transaction files should still automatically delete themselves once all checks have posted and there are no other records in the file when named PR Transaction files is turned on even in cases where the Named NEW payroll transaction file is NEW.PRT. If this is not happening there may be a stranded record in the file. Is this something that you noted after installing version 22.2 Update 3 or something prior to that?
