Base Price Formula

SUGGESTED

Can someone give me the formula to add a base price to an item?

For instance: An equipment rental has it's monthly rental fees, but I would like to add the delivery fee to the item as well.

Thanks

Formulas are generally for takeoff qtys. To add costs like a delivery fee it might work best to just create a separate item called "(equipment name) Delivery Fee" and then have that drop off fee entered as either the "other" or "equipment" cost category.  To automatically add the delivery fee item you could set up an assembly. (this assembly could also take off other equipment items, such as fuel, Diesel pollution fee, etc.).

    twse,

Thanks for the info. I knew about Assemblies, but I was hoping for a not so complicated answer haha

It seems silly and inconvenient to have to add a separate delivery charge Item for everything that gets delivered to a jobsite. My database would probably consist of at least 15% of delivery charge Items if I did that. You would think Sage has an easier way to deal with this problem.

    Thanks again!
