User defined reporting - "In Reference to" in Slips

SOLVED

Hello all,

I am creating user defined reports in Timeslips 2017 (perpetual license).

I have been merrily creating Client reports which include the "in reference to" field from the client record. Not a problem

I have tried creating User Defined Slip and Billing reports using the same "in reference to" field from the client record and it comes back blank. I wouldn't have thought Sage would have put it there unless it was able to be used. Other fields from the client record are coming up fine. This one, not so much.

Any ideas? Is this happening for anyone else?

Are you perhaps confusing "In Reference To" which is a Client field, with "Reference" which is a slip field?

Though they sound alike, they are not the same thing.

    Hi Nancy,

Nope, I'm definitely going to the client drop down box on the right hand side and selecting In Reference To. Have you tried it out yourself?

If I can find out from somebody that In Reference To is working on Sage Timeslips 2017 perpetual license for everyone else then I can look into whether it's a problem on my machine.

I've tried the same report in previous versions and the field works on the same database.
