Hello,
I need a yearly report that shows the top 25 clients, including revenue from each, for 2017 and 2018. I can't seem to figure out which report to run.
Any suggestions or direction would be helpful. Thanks!
Well, billed and paid are two different numbers. Which one do you want to know?
I would think some sort of A/R Transaction report subtotalled by client and set in the options to "only show subtotals and grand totals" would get you the number per client. But you might have to export to EXCEL and then sort the results to get the top 10 subtotals.

Nancy - Thank you so much for your response!
Ideally, the report would show all clients billed during a specific time, in descending order based on the amount billed. It should also include the amount paid, but organized by total amount billed.
I tried a few different A/R reports, but none fit this criteria completely. I was able to order it by account balance, with payments received, but did not include total billed.
I will continue to play around with it and may have to utilize Excel as you suggested.
Thanks again!

Wonderful! Thank you so much, Roger!
If you are focused on the billed numbers as opposed to receipts you might consider the invoice listing sorted by client only showing subtotals and grand totals. Export that to Excel to find your top clients.
