Restore Database

Running Timeslips without any errors. Question is I need to restore from a backup around the December timeframe to check several accounts that have changed. Can I continue to run the current database alongside the restored database? I'm hoping I can do this so nobody has to be out of Timeslips while at the same time I can access the recovered database. 

I've also never restored a database before. Any information is appreciated.

    I don’t see what version you are running, however you can restore and have two different databases. When you do the restore be very careful because the default is to restore on top of the existing. You want to make sure to choose the option to create a new database
