When printing labels from the last bill run how can I eliminate the emailed bills? They obviously do not need a label! It seems like the system should skip them - but at least you should be able to edit them.

Whitney Hess, this does not directly answer your question, but I find Window Envelopes for bills vastly easier than labels. Eliminates the human error potential for bill inside not matching the envelope…
Sounds like a good suggestion - feel free to post under the Ideation area here on Sage City to get that in the queue. I don't think it does that now.
Two other alternatives:
1) I am a big fan of Dymo…
I would offer one other option. If you use pretty much the same list each month, You can setup a custom field that indicates mailing and then print labels based on that using a labels report.

Just a suggestion.

With only about 15 printed bills it's a small scale problem - I get about 40 labels on two sheets that I have to pick through. Just seems like there should be a way to tell it that the emailed bills do not need a mailing label!

Two other alternatives:
1) I am a big fan of Dymo type individial label printers for labels instead of sheets of labels that are often wasted via partial use. Most of them come with software that lets you build a library of addresses as you go, so once you keyed your 15 addresses the first time, you would then just reprint them as necessary.
2) Possibly print the labels to a PDF instead of straight to the printer? Then edit the PDF (possibly using redaction) to only print the ones you need.

We used to use the Dymo - but it would seem that such a simple thing would already be in this software! But I also think I should be able to email my bills directly rather than use a Python program but that "Ideation" went nowhere.
Well, I know that printing the labels preceded the ability to email, so looks like they didn't circle back to tweak that when they added emailing.
Sorry.

maybe they figure this newfangled emailing thing is a passing fad
And the list changes every month - it's not a huge deal - I just have to use two sheet of label paper instead of one - I thought there would be a checkbox or something simple.
