Timeslips Upgrade Issues

Question

We upgraded to the 2020 Timeslips and we keep getting the following error message: "The installation file is not configured for this version of the software. The program will exit now. You must reinstall either your Sage Timeslips configuration or Sage Timeslips so the product and its configuration are matching versions. Does anyone know how to fix this as we will get it working doing what support has instructed and then the next day the error message appears again?

That sounds like someone is invoking a reset of the configuration file at night that overwrites your new configuration file with an older version. Remove the batch file and it should stop happening. 
 It was a process done by some users to bypass licensing issues when they used Terminal Services and desktop installations and needed to workaround the restrictions specified in the EULA. 
 Have IT remove the action on the server in the Windows task scheduler.

Well, or replace the file that is being copied in with the new version post upgrade. That will work also.
