Putting aside the license agreement, Timeslips needs certain components on this computer that would not be part of what is on the portable hard drive, they have to be in the root directory. This would be components like the Firebird SQL service

I did the little trick to transfer the Timeslips 2017 version to another drive. I formatted the hard disk. After that, I recovered the Timpeslips 2017 application with the raid recovery service. After that, I ran the application as administrator and set the Window 98 compatibility. After that, I copied the folder and sent it to the One Drive service. You can try to execute this operation.
