When my users are logging into timslips under their own usernames they usually get a widget that shows the current month slips for them. Recently each user logs in and get another users slips randomly and tey can't see thier slips. They can go into the config settings, remove a filter that has that random user and select themselves as a user and it works fine. This recently started happening with mulitiple users and i am not sure why.

Sounds like they may be sharing a setting. Instead of choosing a particular user - try selecting Logged In Timekeeper. That should make it adjust for each user rather than using the hard choice of a particular user.
