Timeslips won't allow me to Import CSV files

Hi there, my colleagues and I have been attempting to Import Excel files converted to CSV files to our SAGE Timeslips Premium to then proceed to collect the data and bill our clients accordingly, a process we have been doing for years. However, as of late, we are receiving an error message that reads: "Failed to read. The file was not created for use with this function".

These files should be compatible with the template in our software, as they have been saved as CSV files and we did this almost 2 weeks ago.

Some help would be great! This data is crucial, it is used to bill our clients and receive payment, we do need this crucial step to proceed.

Thank you,

Alexus J.

This is a little difficult to troubleshoot through a chat. Since you are running Timeslips Premium, you do have paid support. If you would prefer to work with a consultant (paid) you can reach out and I would be happy to assist. One thing to check is to make sure that the fields are properly formatted. For example, an amoutn field should not have a dollar sign or commas in the field.

@caren2 is correct. The fastest way to resolve that will be to get someone to remote in and look at it with you. The error messages in TSImport are usually literal. So we would start there.
