intuitive client selection

I'm running the newest version of Timeslips.   I can't figure out why when I tab to the client field when entering a timeslip it isn't intuitive all the time.  If I enter a client and it's the wrong one it no longer indexes like it once did.   Anybody else notice this in the newest version?  Any help would be appreciated.  I will note that if I crtl>tab to the prior field, double tap the delete key and then tab to client field, it works but that's more keystroke than I need AND it interrupts the flow of my entry.   Thanks for reading this.

Hi  , and welcome to the Sage Timeslips sub community of Sage City.

Not 100% sure what you mean by "intuitive" in your question. The index of names should be alphabetical, if not, something is up.

Can you RIGHT-click on the client field and confirm which Nickname you are sorting by?

Also, can you see if the My Lists feature is turned on? If it is, and you don't use it, I would recommend turning it off just to rule out any interference.

It may also have something to do with the keyboard timeout setting in your Preferences.

So, a couple of things to check.
