Question on purchasing (not the latest) a "new-ish" version of Timeslips that does not require the subscription model.

Hello Nancy,

In a previous post entitled "Seeking older version of sage timeslips to install" you mentioned that if have the installation keys from a previous installation, then you might be able to install a different version of TimeSlips. We have 4 codes:

  • Configuration Code:
    ***** -***** -***** -***** -***** -*****

  • Reinstallation Code:
    **************************

  • Serial #:
    ********

  • Registration Code:
    ********

With these licenses, are we able to purchase a somewhat newer version (not the latest) from either you, Caren, or somewhere, cause Windows 11 appears to be causing TimeSlips on our Windows 10 PC to crash when they are on simultaneously? Thanks, we are grateful for you helpful advice in the past.

    Mmm, no, not quite right.

All four of those codes will load a single instance of Timeslips and are unique to the version you purchased. So let's say you have a set of codes that you received when you bought 8 licenses of Timeslips v2016.  You can use those codes to install/reinstall 8 licenses of v2016, but you cannot use those codes to load 8 licenses of v2018.

Also, the only thing Sage is selling right now is their Premium/subscription version. The non-subscription versions are no longer sold nor supported.
