Write off unbilled time

SOLVED

I'm trying to figure out how to write off unbilled time showing up on a Prebill without the Timekeeper losing the time they have entered.   I am using Time Slips 2018.      Thanks.

Hello  . Welcome to Sage City, Timeslips Community.

Change the billing status on the slip to Do Not Bill. It counts as unbillable time, does not print on a bill, is invisible to the client, but stays in the system so there is "proof" that the Timekeeper worked.

You can optionally bill and approve the DNB time. If all you have is DNB time for a bill, you will get no print out, but they will be approved and cleaned out as WIP.

Sure thing  . Thanks for asking the question. Too many folks just delete the entries, but then there is no record of them. So the DNB is a much better way to preserve the information. If you don't want it associated with the client at all, you can create an Admin account and move the DNB slip there as well to further distance it from the client. I.e., don't include it in slip listings or reports for that client.
