E Center

SUGGESTED

Is there a setting when I open timeslips to automatically ask if I want to sync from e center? I thought I had seen that somewhere but not finding it now. Thanks.

    Hello  ,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the automatic sync between Timeslips and eCenter. Starting in Sage Timeslips 2018 and Premium versions, the eCenter data transfer utility has become an internal function within Timeslips. Here's what you need to know:

    1. Open Sage Timeslips.

    2. Navigate to Special, eCenter, Transfer Data. Alternatively, you can click the new eCenter Icon in the main menu bar.

    3. Enter your eCenter administrator credentials and click "Test Connection" to validate your account.

    4. Click "OK."

    5. If your Timeslips Database or eCenter database has new data to sync, a Progress dialog will appear, and you will be able to view these items and click "Transfer."

    6. If your Timeslips database and eCenter account are already up to date, the transfer interface will simply indicate that everything is up to date.

Please note that it's essential to have port 4001 open in your firewall to allow the eCenter transfer utility to communicate and access Sage resources.

If you encounter any specific issues or have further questions about syncing with eCenter, you can reach out to eCenter support by sending an email to [email protected]. Be sure to include your Sage account number, eCenter admin username if known, and describe the issue or concern. Here's an article as well on how to change the timeout setting in eCenter.

If you need additional guidance or resources, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to assist you further.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi
