As you may already know, Microsoft is ending its support for Microsoft Windows XP as of April 8, 2014. Once Microsoft stops support for Windows XP, Sage will also stop supporting Sage ERP X3 on computers using Windows XP.  

Please note that Sage ERP X3’s next release is not compatible with customer running Windows XP. Also, any future product updates for existing Sage ERP X3 will not be compatible with Windows XP.

Going forward, in addition to security concerns, there is the increased risk that some features and functionality of Sage ERP X3 will stop working on Windows XP because updates released after April 8, 2014 will not be tested or verified on computers running Windows XP. Sage ERP X3 customers not on a supported version of Windows will need to upgrade to a supported version of Windows in order to install Sage ERP X3 updates.
