Is it possible to return un-used material back to stock?

Less than one minute read time.

Yes, it is possible to return unused raw materials back to stock using the Reintegration plan function “FUNBENCHR”.

This function can be used to return materials to stock that was not fully consumed during production tracking. For example, if a finished goods requires a one pallet of raw material but during production, only half of that pallet was used, reintegration plan allows the remaining of the pallet to be returned back to stock.

Before using the reintegration plan function, an entry transaction (Setup, Manufacturing, Entry transaction, Reintegration plan) must be setup and parameters defined to allow the return of the product. It is possible to specify whether to track on a Work order and/or on a BOM.

After consuming materials using Production tracking "GESMTK" or Material tracking plan "FUNBENCHM" and deciding that some leftover material needs to go back to stock, use Reintegration plan (Manufacturing, Production tracking) to record the reintegration of one material or a group of materials on a work order.

Once the reintegration is entered and validated, the transaction can be found under Manufacturing, Production tracking, Production tracking and the tracking type would be WO reintegration.

  • Hello Mcnets,

I looked at the Reintegration function and it does not have an object. Because of that, it is not possible to use web services unless you create your own custom sub-program. Same thing for importing, there is no template for it and you need to create your own custom import using a script or try with the function and table and see if it works.
