Summit Draws Nigh And Content Overflows…

1 minute read time.

Sage Summit 2014 is just around the corner. It’s an exciting time with a wide variety of content. If you haven’t seen the Sage ERP X3 specific schedule yet, check here. In fact, I am presenting two sessions this year myself, sign up now if you haven’t already (see below for my session codes and times).

The “Explore the tools” session I’m giving on Wednesday is a demo rich presentation all about the kinds of tools you have at your disposal for diagnosing and resolving a wide variety of technical errors or application logic based problems. In fact, I have so much content for that session something has to give, so I’m giving away content for free! Yes, I’m having a Crazy Gideon moment here.  So guess what? You get a sneak peak (queue eerie soundtrack here) at some of the content that didn’t make the cut. And we’re off…

Locating Your Performance Problem’s Epicenter

I get this question a lot: “What is causing my performance problem? What’s the origin of this issue?” If you haven’t looked at Task Manager and Resource Monitor in Windows for a while you may not have noticed how strong this tool is really becoming. It’s easy to overlook, probably because the toolset has become so easy to use. You can really get a good idea where the burden is coming from at any given moment through a careful use of these tools.

Check out my YouTube video on this technique when you get a chance. The technique is quite simple, but if you’ve never used it before it can be quite helpful in a crunch. I hope you find it useful!
