As I know - there isn't a standard report. For such reason I would recommend use dimensions (at category or product level - depend of product variation) and modify a bit Stock interface parameters - so that posted entries are made for each product separate, if need.
Changes in journal entries - if they are not more then 300, then I would recommend to do it manually - cost/time effective way. In case updates are made with development tools ( import/export data as well) - it can lead to synchronized financial reports. To correct them - there are utilities in Finances.
But - before you correct data - make sure that all journals and accounting codes are corrected.
I would recommend using product stat groups that correspond to the gl numbers. This servers two purposes. A user can print the stock valuation report using those stat groups. This makes it easier for month end reconciliation.
In addition, you can print a stat group report by using the same reference, sort by gl account number so accounting will be able to see which account is being used.
Another suggestion is to create a query. This will allow accounting to see which account is being used whenever that product number is being used in a transaction.
This is a great idea, as an alternative if you have a DBA in house you can extract this data quickly through SQL.
