I am developing a customer solution for a hand held computer to pick sales orders. The customer wants to use serial numbers in the deliveryprogram. Is it possible from a web service to enter serial numbers the same way that is done in Serial numbers in issue (see picture below).

I have looked in the DB and found that the allocation is stored in the table STOALL. So I guess it would be possible to manually create and update these rows but it seems a bit complicated. Is this the right way to go or does it exist any standard functions that I can use instead?
