X3 conflict with Office 365

I hope I am asking this on the correct forum.

My company is currently using Sage X3 v.6.5.

This past week we just installed Office 365 on all our work stations.

Out of the 15 work stations we installed Office on, 2 of the stations are having issues.

When X3 client is running, and we open any of the Office programs (Outlook, Excel, ect..) The X3 windows start to refresh. Sometimes the refresh every few seconds and sometimes they refresh to a point they are unusable. I have reinstalled both X3 and Office 365 on these work stations. Nothing seems to work.

If anyone has experienced this issue, please let me know if you found a fix.

Hello,

See if turning off graphical theme on those two workstations would do anything for you.

Similar to below KB.

What client version are you installing? I have X3 v 6.5 and use client 116 on my Windows 10 computers, but I see client 117 is available. I have two users with O365 and have no problems.

This issue is only happening on 2 computers (windows 7 pro) one has v.6.5 111 and the other has v.6.5 116. The issues is happening on both computers, but not on the other 9 computers in my office (all v.6.5 111 - win7 pro)/

Hello,

While I am sure you already know, that Office 365 is only officially supported for V11, but since you had other computers working, I am guessing that is what you are trying to find why.

So have you as test tried removing the office from one of these two computers, and uninstall and reinstall the client, make sure everything is nice and Ok without office?
