where are failed printed reports stored?

When a report fails to print, is it being stored anywhere in the database?

Have you ever tried looking at the Print Supervision function? I know if a document gets "hung" and doesn't print, you can see it here. You might be able to check the screen for it and see what the associated table(s) are.

Also check folder structure under the print server instalation. You will find there a folder with all the errors related to the print server process.
