Once a Purchase Return has been validated it can't be edited. See Sage Knowledgebase article 88736.  The credit will have to be done manually.

Depends on the version and patch levle you are at, it's possilbe to flip the flag after the return is validated. To do so, click on the action icon on the line, and choose "Gen Credit memo". Note that you can only request a credit memo if the original order has been invoiced by the supplier.

Once I've "Gen Credit Memo", how can I delete the return? It still not possible to delete it from action icon. My Return is the same conditions than Ancient Nutrition one (Validated and Invoiced).

Hi Juan,

The solution I provided is not meant to "delete" the the return. In Ancient Nutrition's example, they forgot to flip the "Generate Credit Memo" flag on the line before they validate the return, and therefore they wanted to unvalidate it. I just pointed out that even after a return is validated, the user can still flip the "Gen. Credit Memo" flag through the action icon, which make it unnecessary to unvalidate the return.

Once a return is validated, it decrements your inventory, and can not be deleted.
