sage syracuse service is not starting anymore

Question

windows server has been updates yesterday, after restarting the server, Syracuse service stopped working, i found the below log: 
 Service "Sage Syracuse - NODE0" is down ! Checking for patch integration before starting the service ... File C:\Sage\SyracuseComponent\syracuse\bin\version.json not found ! Could not check for patch integration ! Starting service "Sage Syracuse - NODE0" ... Service started successfully ! Service "Sage Syracuse - NODE0" is down ! Checking for patch integration before starting the service ... File C:\Sage\SyracuseComponent\syracuse\bin\version.json not found ! Could not check for patch integration ! Starting service "Sage Syracuse - NODE0" ... Service started successfully ! 
 
 this File C:\Sage\SyracuseComponent\syracuse\bin\version.json exits and not messing. 
 Kindly assist.

also I&rsquo;ve seen it happen before. 
 
 In the MongoDB\data folder you get a file with an extension of .lck if that exists the service will not start. 
 
 Just delete the file and it should then let you start the service.

First check if mondodb service is started , if it is, and if you can connect with our without ssl to the syracuse daabase. if it all ok with mongo just re-deploy syracuse. It will fix this problem.
