This does not make sense as Sage has built-in function for creation of product-site records in mass (CREITFMA). Even more, when you will try to create product-site record using import procedure, you will fail to fullfill all needed fields inherited automatically from product category at the moment of creation of product-site record using built-in function.

You'll have to forgive me if what I'm asking seems dumb, my organization doesn't have access to Sage University so I'm learning through trial and error. Where can I find more information on the function you mentioned (CREITFMA)? I've searched it in both the online help center and the KB but haven't found any records related to it. 

Common data -> Products -> Utilities -> Product site creation.

In deed, there is no online help available for this function. Nevertheless, when you will navigate in the system to the function, you will figure out yourself how to use this!
