We're trying to get MRP to do WOS's in increments using the EOQ and Technical lot. Here's the situation. Say the build needs to be 9,123 to get to ideal inventory position. What we're trying to get is 2 WOS's of 4,000 each and 1 WOS of 2,000 which would land us over ideal but what we would do on the shop floor. I've tried EOQ of 4,000 and technical lot of 2,000 but the last WOS winds up being 1,123. What are we doing wrong? I've tried different variations of rounding and splitting but to no avail. Ideas?
