SOAP Errors

SUGGESTED

We have an integration with a 3rd party eCommerce site, and X3 is returning the following errors.  Does anybody know what these mean, and what the resolution is?  The only resolution right now is to stop and start the web service pools.  These errors are in the syracuse web logs.

  • Maximum call stack size exceeded
  • Error Fetching http headers

Hi , I do not know the context to the specific errors (I would have to see the full error stack in the syracuse logs) and I would suggest opening a support ticket with your local sage support group. With that said, there was a recorded issue with "Maximum call stack size exceeded" and was corrected with Syracuse Version 12.7 and higher. If you're not on version 12 i would suggest updating the Syracuse component to as high as you can get to. As for the other error "Error Fetching http headers" It sounds like the web calls are unable to get the http header from syracuse. this could be a coding issue if your using a custom object, publication, or subprogram call, or a setting issue in the nodelocal.js file for syracuse configuration. If you are unfamiliar with the Syracuse config file, I would suggest talking to your assigned Business Partner or Sage Local Support. There is additional logging you can enabled under Administration, settings, global settings (if on V12, or Administration, usage, logs, host logs if on U9 or V11)

you can change these to Silly Mode and record everything that happens
