You can enter budgetting per ledger or per analytical account. Did you explore this function?

Stock>Reorders>Demand forecast is where you enter that. Definitely read the function help.. It is also possible to import them. That's how we do it. You can set MRP to see the forecast and suggest replenishment. The manual 'Manufacturing - Beyond the Basics' covers it in detail.

You should see the result of your forecast in planning workbench. You can access the forecast from the right panel in there as well.
