Multiple Folders pointing to single SQL database

SUGGESTED

Hi

I have a customer with a v12 installation with multiple folders (SEED, PILOT, X3).  Every folder is somehow pointed to the PILOT data.  I have checked SQL, and the normal SEED data is present,.  If I add record in any folder, it is reflected in all three folders (but not in the SQL tables).  The data is NOT replicating in SQL

Screen changes are NOT reflected in all three folders.

How did I possibly do this and how can I fix it?

Unfortunately that does not appear to be the solution.

    This is odd though:

RTZPILOT seems like it is an archived (or known as purge) folder?

Try looking at Setup > Folders and check how the folders are linked.

I usually set Copy folder to X3 only to prevent any sort of surprise happening due to not knowing the full extent of setting Copy folder to the folder you copied from.

Considering the amount of PILOT folders inside and the weird cases, I would probably nuke the whole folder structure and start from a fresh new folder, especially if you are dumped with no details on the reason of existence for these folders. Do confirm with the team to collect details to be collected before cleaning up the whole folder structure.
