We want to trace products at the lot level but maintain traceability to the specific package. Is there a way to produce products to include their packaging? I basically want to serialize (maybe globally) my PAC units such that each one is uniquely identifiable in inventory. Today, trialing global serial numbers on products whose STK units are in a weight unit (KG) makes it impossible to generate a serial number for each drum (serial numbers get produced for each whole weight unit instead, and we need divisibility to the 0.001kg), even if I receive/produce those materials in their PAC unit.

Is there a configuration or setup of global serial numbers in X3 to point them to the received unit (including PAC unit when applied) instead of the STK unit?
