Table Beginning / End message when exporting stock list

Question

Hello,

We have a current inventory process that requires pulling and Excel exporting a full stock list by site (using the CONSSAR function - stock by product - entering a site and leaving the From/To Product fields blank). Once that list is pulled, we use the action menu "Excel export" option to get an excel spread sheet of all products under that specific site. We do this for multiple sites on an almost daily basis and usually do not have any issues. However, we occasionally will get a "Table Beginning / End" message when trying to export. If we click through that message and try to export the list, we will get a "No data to export" pop up.

We haven't been able to pinpoint what field / change causes this issue. Has anyone run into this issue before? Does anyone know of a fix?

check out Sage KB 105939. I&rsquo;ve seen this issue for a few different inquiries. The search results being one record less than the max number of records allowed per setting on the screen code.

Resolution

Resolved in 2020 R4 (12.0.24) 
 
 Workaround: the only current workaround is to have the screen code's Number of Lines field to be higher than the search resaults by a minimum of 2

Additional information

Currently, this is only reported for Stock Transaction Inquiry Screen Code (Function: CONSSMV) and Version 12 Patch 21/22. There has been no reports on any other versions (before or since) or no other functions besides the one specifically noted.
