I get the error on different stock transaction screens. I click OK and proceed. I have never had it block me from doing anything.

The stock period is not open for the Date 8/17/23

Yes, but why would it be throwing an error when I'm simply viewing transactions or entering the screen. I would understand if I was trying to modify, edit, or create transactions on or for that date, but I'm not when the error pops up. 

Yes it is annoying.  the focus is on a transaction in a closed stock period when you go into the screen.

It is because in every screen, X3 is going to pull up your last read transaction, which was one from site TFC dated 08/17/23. Since it is a closed period, it pops up the warning message. Annoying, but harmless.

This usually mean the financial period related to August 2023 is closed. You should experience the same error message for any stock transactions on this period and stock site.

If you really need to enter this transaction at this specific date, you need to speak with the financial team to see if they are willing to reopen the period for you. As, stock change don't usually impact the stock value and GL, you may have a chance to make it happen.
