Sage X3 Migrating to Intacct

Hi 
 We have a client who has been using X3 since before Intacct was available in Australia. They are now looking to migrate to Sage Intacct. 
 They are multi entity and mainly finance oriented , so do not need the manufacturing, distribution features of X3. 
 Have many partners been doing these migrations and what's the response like from clients. 
 Any gotchas, that Sage x3 just does a lot better, I get that Intacct is going to have more features, but the flexibility of X3 makes me concerned that they will find the product looks good and seems easier on the surface but core things they do might not be available. 
 I personally feel that the GST management in Intacct is a major step back and I the intercompany/inter entity might be limited. 
 Thanks for any thoughts on this area.

Hi Stacey, 
 We (at Net at Work US-based) do a lot of Intacct migrations but mostly from Sage 100, 300, and 500 - and like you mentioned it's for non-product companies (finance only). 
 Since we started representing Intacct, we lead with that product for finance-only companies and only go X3 if we find a gap. Most of our prospects don&rsquo;t want to be early adopters so will pivot to X3 if Intacct doesn&rsquo;t fit today. We recently found such an example with a project-based client that needed functionality around contracts that Intacct didn&rsquo;t yet have. We haven&rsquo;t seen limitations yet in inter-company/inter-entity - Intacct has excellent functionality in this area.
