Handling tiered pricing on orders

A discussion that was started at Sage Summit...

How are others handling tiered pricing at an order level versus individual lines on an order?  (i.e. customer gets pricing break on total order weight)

The suggestion was made that this could be resolved using Pricing Groups.  How is anyone else doing this today?

  • I would like to know more about using pricing groups.  We sell products that are the same except for color and our customers get quantity price discounts if the total order quanitity of a product family is ordered, not just a specific part number.  We currently have to manually override pricing in this example.
