Component Product Report

Hi All,

I've been using X3 for about 2 months now, so I know a little with a lot to learn.

Currently I am trying to run a report/inquiry to determine how much RAW materials we are using. By running the PRODBINV report I get a high level report of our sold products, however I'm looking for something that will report all the components of what we sold for a given time range. Not just, Product A, but what Product A is made of.

Is there something that will do this (Or its like where I can manipulate the data) already on the system, or would this be a custom thing.

    Hi,

    This may not be exactly what you are looking for but it should help.  You can go to Common data, BOM, Where used, Components - key in your componenet and then look at the other parameters.  This will give you all the BOMS that use a particular component.  So I think this is kind of opposite of what you are looking for.  If that doesn't help, maybe you could write a requestor using the BOMD table.
