You can join the tables as said but there is no need to do that. X3 has a Crystal function “X3TranslatedText” that would return the text (long/short). In the example below Crystal would return the description for “product statistical group 1” that is linked in SORDERP record.

Did you find out how it works? I've got the same problem.

My code below exposes Product Statistical group 2 - Long Description. It worked perfectly. No more joining tables and adding AVWTEXTRA views to crystal reports....Much faster and more efficient....
