Until recently, I was able to launch the SEI Excel add-in automatically. I can no longer do that. If I key in the user id and password, it fails. I have done a cut/paste from a Word document to both the BI product and the add-in to remove my fat-fingering as a possibility. We are using the ADMIN level user.
SEI BI works. The add-in does not.
We recently had a problem where it was not resolving the server name correctly when connecting via a VPN and Tangerine tech support updated a Windows file to fix this. The problem with the BI function (which had been failing) was resolved. I only later discovered the add-in was not.
Any idea what we need to do to get past this?
