How to perform a user audit in SAGE X3?

SUGGESTED

We have a customer that needs to audit the activity of one user under SOX compliance. Is this possibel in SAGE X3? We have the Audit trace on tables and fields but this is decreasing performance and growing the database (almost higher than the actual database).

Logs.  I am pretty sure that any transaction that generates an accounting entry, gets logged.   You can search these logs by user (maybe not in X3 unless you set something up but in the directory where it puts the logs, set searching on to speed it up).  It's not foolproof, if a different person validates or post they will be on the log but maybe it will give you a good picture depending on your environment.   Then if they want more detail you will have to drill down on the transactions.

Doesn't help with other activities without auditing on.  Like master file changes as only the creating and last change user is logged but not the changes made.
