General Trial Balance Error

General Trial Balance total at 12/31/23 does not match the ending balance at 12/31/2023 of the detail for several of my cash accounts. (In all cases, the detail ending balance is correct.) I've checked the audit trail and don't see any behind-the-scenes activity that would account for this.

I see a similar problem was submitted yesterday and the reply was that there was a service disruption that has now been corrected, but my numbers are still off.

    Hi Paula! I noticed the same - and the issue extends onto the Balance Sheet, as well. Five of my seven active client files are impacted.

    Last I'd heard, still not solved. I checked again just now and the problem persists.

    I was told by the support staff I chatted with yesterday afternoon that I'd get an email confirming resolution that the problem is solved but that has not happened yet. They did confirm that GL Detail ending #'s are accurate, so I am pushing forward using those data sets and building out FYE financial reports for my clients by hand.

    I talked to them just now (I wasn't sure if they were fixing problems individually or if it was system wide) and they are still working on the fix, and did confirm they would email all of us that reached out when it was resolved.

    We are aware of the issue where the Balance Sheet and General Ledger do not agree. The Product Team is working on resolution.

    In the meantime, please email [email protected] or chat with support so we can have cases created for you and you will be notified once the issue is resolved. 

    The General Ledger report is still accurate, you can utilize it for your Year End reporting.
