Good day

To avoid getting the same error again in the future, ensure that you have no Excel workbooks open when exporting your data/reports to Excel or you should not open the report while the export process to Excel is still in progress. You should only open the report once the export to Excel has been completed.

 If the above is not the issue, please repair your Pastel program.

Hi Lolo,

I get the same error when exporting from the explorer. No excel is open, i have repaired the program and still, see attached. Kindly advise.

If Excel is not open, check for any Excel.exe processes in the Task Manager and end them if found. In addition, 

do not open the report while the export process to Excel is still in progress. You should only open the report once the export to Excel has been completed.

Should this not help, have Excel repaired on the affected machine.

Hi Maps,

I am getting some inconsistencies.

I did not repair the Excel yet and did the following.

1. Excel is closed, error comes up.

2. Opened excel , then it exports with no error.

3. Immediately closed Excel, then exported with no error.

Will repair excel and see if the above results do change.

Would you also check if either Excel or Sage 50c is set to run as an administrator. Check this on the Compatibility tab of the applications' Properties. See example below:
