Is there an (ongoing) issue with Standard Bank feeds not connecting??
Been struggling since last week, with no progress from Sage.
I have the same issue, and continuously getting no feed updates and errors if you try to link the feed again.
I am also struggling with Standard bank at the moment - can we get an answer from Sage
JUST RECEIVED THIS RESPONSE FROM SAGE
Yeah - got the same response this morning.
And manually importing just leads to duplicates when the feeds works again and pull in all the transactions for the past week. So the suggested solution is not great.
WHAT THE SAGE - YOU COSTING US MONEY
Morning. Any new news from this issue?
Good day,
Please try the following, navigate to - Banking> Transactions> Manage bank feeds.
Beneath the Bank account name is an option 'Update Login Details'
Enter Online Banking login details and save.
After you have done the above, Navigate to - Banking> Transactions> Manage bank feeds.
Beneath the Bank account name is an option 'Fetch transactions manually'
Enter the date when the last transaction was pulled in and click on Fetch transactions manually.
Please do advise if transactions do not pull in after this.
Regards
This does not work at all. I've been trying to do this for months to no avail
Is Sage Online now able to support the automatic bank feeds function for Standard Bank? From what I have searched, Standard Bank does not allow for automatic bank feeds to be set up on Sage Accounting?
Your lucky, ABSA has been down since end of October and they have no resolutions for this.
Feedback regarding the progress also lefts a lot to be desired.
It's hard to believe that a company this size handles an issue like this.
In the meantime it takes more than twice the time to do daily bank recons on more than 20 companies and between this and the manual import of csv files it is a mess with duplicates etc....
Honestly so disgusted with the non-existent customer service. Like you say - hard to believe a giant like Sage cannot find a resolution to small issues. At least respond... maybe if customers understand why something cannot be done, it would be less frustrating!
I bet that users outside of Africa do not have these issues... cannot even create a business developer account to customise the software (BASIC changes) if you are in Africa. 'How-to' and other Training content not available to African users either. What the heck?!
