I am losing faith more and more in Sage and their products!

There was an issue with Sage Accounting getting the invoices out in time which caused a delay in us renewing our systems towards the end of last year

And now the legislative release is not out yet and it's already 1 March! Why only 5 March?

I need to process wages today on the new tax tables and now I can't !

And I know what your answer will be - that's ok you can process on old tax tables and then the system will correct itself after the upgrade

Which means people may end up getting less money out next week than this week and then I will need to please explain! Sage will just wash their hands of it

Sage is becoming less and less customer focused and it is disappointing as a very long standing customer!

    I apologize that we are not meeting your service expectations based on your feedback.

    The legislative update is consistently implemented within the first week of March each year. After the budget speech, we ensure all necessary changes are made and approved internally to guarantee that the update accurately reflects the legislative adjustments.

    Regarding transitioning into the new week: You can proceed with the rollover, as indicated in our announcement post where we confirmed no changes to tax thresholds and medical aid credits. This means we will continue to use the same Tax table as the previous year. If you have concerns about the upcoming public holiday ( 29th of May), that is a separate matter, that will be implemented within the next update or you can add it manually.
